ProtoLens

AI prototype collaboration for HTML, SVG, and PNG

Turn AI-generated prototypes into review links your team can act on.

ProtoLens helps OPC founders, small teams, and internal product teams review AI-made HTML prototypes without moving files. Comments stay anchored to the prototype and flow back as Markdown for the next AI pass.

AI-output friendly

Review HTML, SVG, PNG, JPG, and WEBP prototypes generated by agents or design tools.

User-owned data

Prototype files and review markdown stay in the owner's GitHub repo, not a ProtoLens content database.

Safe static rendering

No clone, build, install, or execution of repository code.

AI-ready export

Export markdown or read comments through MCP with the review URL.

Built for AI delivery loops

From agent output to human review to the next implementation pass.

For OPC and founders

Share a working prototype URL before building a full preview stack.

For internal teams

Keep product, design, engineering, and stakeholders aligned on exact UI regions.

For AI agents

llms.txt, structured metadata, MCP, and Markdown exports make the review loop easier for AI tools to understand.

Security and privacy by design

We broker review access. We do not become your prototype database.

ProtoLens temporarily reads the selected static file from GitHub to render a safe review page. Durable prototype files, manifests, and comments stay in the owner's GitHub repository.

No repository cloning

Review links read selected static files by repo, ref, and path through GitHub APIs.

No user code execution

No npm install, build scripts, server startup, or repository runtime execution.

No ProtoLens content database

Comments are persisted as Markdown under .prototype-review in the owner's repo.

Strict static rendering

HTML/SVG is sanitized and served with a restrictive CSP for review mode.

Current rollout

Public self-serve is open. Usage stays bounded by GitHub-backed storage, static-only rendering, and conservative review limits.
